Description
Essentials EC Meter
Keep track of your nutrient solution with the Essentials EC Meter. Designed for hydroponic and soilless growing systems, it provides accurate electrical conductivity (EC) readings to help you monitor nutrient strength.
Automatic temperature compensation adjusts readings for changes in solution temperature, making routine checks straightforward.
Key features
- Accurate EC readings: monitor the strength of your nutrient solution.
- Automatic temperature compensation: all readings are temperature compensated.
- Easy to calibrate: simple calibration helps you maintain reliable measurements.
- Quick results: readings are typically ready within 20 seconds, with a beep to let you know.
- Floating design: if dropped into the solution, the meter floats to the surface for quick and easy retrieval.
How to use
Dip the sensor into your nutrient solution, stir gently and wait for the beep before checking the reading.
Lifespan and care
The meter has an approximate lifespan of 1–3 years, depending on how frequently it is used. If it falls into your solution, retrieve it promptly to help prevent damage to the internal components.
