The humidifier features 3 ultrasonic plates that atomise water into fine mist. Hard water will cause calcium carbonate buildup on these plates, which may void the warranty. To protect your investment, use filtered water, rainwater, or RO water. Alternatively, an inline DI Resin filter removes hardness from tap water, keeping the plates clean and maintaining optimal performance.
