Incorporating oxygen into your nutrition solution at a low cost is easy with these golf ball-shaped air stones. In keeping with its namesake, the Hailea Golf Ball Air Stone is a golf ball-sized, porous stone measuring 2 inches (50mm) in diameter.
To use, just run an air line from one of our air pumps to the device (sold separately). This is helpful for all systems, but especially DWC Pots.
We recommend utilising one air stone per 50 litres of water in order to produce an adequate infusion of oxygen into the water.

When connected to an air pump, the porous stone will release tiny pockets of air, creating the effect of bubbles. You can aerate the nutrient solution by placing the air stone in water and seeing the little bubbles it makes.
